What Is Carbon Footprint?

Carbon footprint is calculating in carbon dioxide (CO2) the equivalents of greenhouse gas effects generating from activities determined by the Kyoto Protocol, such as production, service and processing.

HOW TO CALCULATE CORPORATE CARBON FOOTPRINT

After the study carried out based on Scope 1 and Scope 2 limits in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standards determined by ISO 14064 series 1-2 and the GHG Protocol, the total corporate carbon footprint at eurotec, was calculated as 4,907 tCO2e.

Scope 1: Direct

These are direct emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by an organization.

Scope 2: Energy - Indirect

These are energy indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, heat and steam consumed by an organization.

Scope 3: Other - Indirect

These are all other emissions that are caused by the activities of an organization throughout its value chain and are not included in Scope 2 emissions.
